Alright here's the recipe on the back of the quaker oatmeal tub:
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups quaker oats
1 cup raisins
Alright so how do I make that as "clean" as possible, or is it clean enough already? I imagine I can replace the sugar with splenda, vegetable oil with olive oil, dunno if there's anything else. Could I replace the brown sugar with whey protein??? Haha that sounds kinda gross but maybe it's worth a shot. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Funny you should post this - I'm working on a recipe at the moment.
My suggestions to start with: replace the margarine with natural peanut butter, the sugars with dextrose (use extra, dex isn't as sweet, or add some splenda to the dextrose to help the sweetness), a tablespoon of molasses to replace the "brown sugar" taste, and the flour with ground oats OR vanilla whey powder.
Watch the baking temperature - they'll burn more easily.

Sweet, I guess I can just kick back and wait patiently for the recipe!!!! :).
Any worth in replacing some of the flour with wheat flour?

Also I came across this when I was searching:
1/2 c. applesauce or crushed pineapple
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. white flour
1/2 c. wheat flour
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. mini chocolate chips
Looks like they swapped half of the white flour with wheat.

I'm a newb :hello: and saw this post and I've got a recipe for you:
3/4 Oat flour (grind up oats in processor if not on hand)
1 1/2 cup Oats
1/2 cup applesauce (If you like your cookies moist & soft then add, but for a crunchier cookie leave out)
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites
1 cup Splenda
1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup
1/4 cup FF butter (optional)
Add raisins & walnuts
Stir all ingredients together, spray non-stick onto baking sheet, bake at 325-350 for 15-20 min.
In my house these last for 2 days...if I'm lucky.
