Some Pics of bulk and how its going excuse the quality of a few of the pics.
Currently at 220lbs, started around 175lbs. Will bulk to the new year then cut for the following summer. arrying quite a lot of fat but feel the muscle is still being added so happy with being a little on the round side for the moment.
Legs are my weak point, squatting to bring them up, not too heavy but just medium weight with good reps.

Bench about 286lbs
ATF squat 264lbs
dead 440lbs

nice progress man. You've added lotsa good mass. I went on a similar bulk over the last year and found that I added a bit more fat than anticipated. My "summer cut" ended up lasting waaay longer than anticipated(Still ongoing). If you continue to grow @ a fast pace you may want to throw in a "minicut" before January then go back to bulking. THen again, if you might be able to lean out far faster than me and have the size+leanness in time for the summer. Just a suggestion. Very good job.

Hey Guys some nice comments there. Ive basically just stuck to training 3 x per week.

Monday chest +shoulders
Tuesday Back
Friday Legs + Biceps

Eating a hell of a lot, protein around 200g a day, taking creatine also for the last 3 weeks.

It took me from about 6 months to gain that weight Irish, its gone up very quickly, hence the added fat. I think though maybe not obvious from the pic Ive added a lot of mass to my legs and ass, I had never trained legs before or deadlift on back for that matter. I guess this gave me some potential to gain weight.

You are right about the fast bulk clubber, will look into a slower bulk next time, though there is something nice about gaining strength and weight quickly. Ill adjust it according to how the cut goes.

For your gains I seriously do not think your fat gain is that bad.

Damn dude, that's impressive. Look at the difference in your forearms. Gaining 45 pounds in 26 weeks is a little agressive, but you look like you're carrying it well.

I'm 5'7" and weigh 150 with 10% BF. I'm going on a clean, slow bulk from September thru January. Hopefully, in those 5 months I'll get up to about 170 with minimul bodyfat gain. I'll then probably spend 3 months cutting for summer. I would like to be between 160 and 165 and less than 10% BF.

I'm 46 years old, so maybe this is a pipe dream, but I'm going to try.

Rbb thanx dude, just had a read of your journal there, very impressive stuff indeed!

Marky my dad just started lifting with me a few months ago he is 48 and making great gains, albeit he never trained weights seriously in his life before this. But the gains are there in size and strength.

If you only see 1-3% gain you must be partially blind atleast.

@ 175 he was like 9% @ 220 he is pushing 15.

Nonetheless, that's amazing progress.

I think Im at least 15% yes, this has been as far from a clean bulk as they come easy way to get a load of cals, though not healthy obviously. Ill think about it over my time cutting on how I can tweak my bulk next time for possible more satisfactory results :)
