Well since everyone here is posting the results of their summer cut I'll show my current pics. It's been a slow painful cut. I'm dying for my midsection to narrow out. It's the last to go. I've dropped alot of weight in the ass and thighs. A comination of bodyfat/crappyposture/big abs and sway back really make my gut look big. I'm 5'10 188. I figure I have about 10lbs to go

old pics are here:

thanks for the feedback. legs are definitely lagging. I think I am gonna move to a split that does legs twice a week instead of once. I Finally picked up a nice set of Olympic plates and a quality bench with pulley/leg attachment off of the craigslist for hella cheap. I can kiss my crappy york bench and combination of concrete and steel plates goodbye. Heavy ass squats are on the near horizon. I just need a good dipbelt so I can do some calve raises on my basement steps. I'm gonna try to be more diligent with my HIIT. It's been a while since I've ran. I've also dug up a box of my mom's Tae Bo DVD's. They've got some pretty intense 45 minute sessions. So far, the longest I've lasted is about 30 mins I did six years of competitive Taekwon Do so I really miss the kicking and punching. I also need to quit smoking.

It's amazing how you can carry that much fatin your midsection, yet still have that separation at the obliques. It gave me the impression you were much leaner in the earlier pic. That'll look great when you cut down some more.

thanks I think the big obliques stem from years of taekwondo, and presuming that twisting crunches, would somehow eliminate my lovehandles. If only spot reduction was a reality :(

anyone got any bodyfat estimates? I find it nearly impossible to guage myself visually.

Changed up the routine. It now involves alot of 5X5 compound movements. They are quite exhausting and burn up lotsa cals. Cardio/HIIT is now a staple and not an afterthought. Weight is about the same but feeling/looking leaner. I'm somewhere between 182 and 188. Still have a bit of a pot belly, but it disappears when flexed

Thanks for the feedback. I plan on keeping @ this for about 7 more weeks on this routine. I'd reccommend it to anyone that's cutting. I want to do 3 more weeks of phase 1 before moving to phase 2
