This heat is killing my appetite and diet. Nothing sounds good. I went to the grocery store the other day and walked around for a half an hour and couldn't find anything to eat.:(

So, what is everybody eating? If you could post your meals, broken down, that would be great. And, if you like, you can come back and post each day what your diet is consisting of, which could give me and others ideas that we might not of thought of.

Here's what I've had today:

a teryaki chicken sub from subway with pepperjack cheese, bacon, and loaded veggies on wheat....that was the bright spot of the eating schedule today.

a shake with whey protein, oats, a peach, blueberries, yogurt, wheat germ, olive oil, oj, and milk.

powder gatorade

2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, glass of milk

a steakum on a bun

fish oil, multi, ginseng, arginine, amino acids

adequate water and thats about it:(

I'm gonna try for 1 more meal tonight, although I'm not very hungry.

at the moment i'm eating cold melon :D the heat started up again here as of today.

i made stir fry today with lots of tofu and rice noodles, melon all day long,cottage cheese,cashews,protein shake,6 boiled eggs,that's what i had today.

oooh, I forgot about stir frys.......I like to mix in red peppers, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and sometimes brocolli with either chicken or beef w/ sauces.....*tells self to make a list*

I can't eat melon plain, but mixed in a shake ya can't tell the difference. Thank goodness for shakes and blenders.

Stawberry whey shake made soymilk (a bit lactose intolerant), 1 tbsp white chocolate sf ff jello pudding, frozen crushed ice, 4 frozen stawberries, a bit of stevia blended with hand blender so it comes out thick & creamy like ice cream:drooling:.

check my fitday link for todays (and the past days') breakdown. I am thinking about making some tuna patties from the reciepe on here if I do not get too lazy. I will keep up this diet for another good 2-4 weeks...when I get the results that I am happy with. Then, I am going to up the carbs and get to a good clean bulk.

toasted whole wheat bread + 2 tablespoons natty pb + 1 banana sliced up

whole wheat pasta w/chicken

a whole can of white beans w/ 1/3 cup tomato sauce, broccoli, chicken

various protein shakes

Depending on my mood I struggle to find stuff as well. On hot days, a bowl of cereal with cold milk is sooooo refreshing.

Breakfast 4:30am
1. 2 cups Cherrios
2. 8oz Orange flavored crystal light with 1 serving of powdered egg whites ( 22 grams of protein )
And a multi vitamin

Drank a diet dr pepper when I got to work, I dont drink coffee so this is my early morning pick me up.

Meal 2 8:00am
1. Light yougurt ( lime flavored yummy )
2. 8oz water

Lunch 10:00am
1. Salad with 3 cups lettece, 1 6oz can of tuna, and 2 tbls of light ranch dressing ( only 45 calories =)
2. Minute made light lemondae.

meal 4 12:00pm
1. 1 cup cottage chesse
2. 8oz of water

meal 5 2:00pm
1. Protein shake with 6oz of water.

I then took a nap from 2-5.

Dinner 6:00
1. I fish filet ( talapia about 5 oz ) grilled ( george forman )
2. 2 cups green beans.
3. 2 Light chocolate cookies ( homemade with apple sauce ).
4. 16 oz water.

No gym today either, so im just being lazy...

Ill eat more carbs on the days I work out, and useally drink my protein shake with milk on the days I work out.

6 eggs with yolks, 3 protein shakes, 2 english muffins completely covered in peanut butter, and some oatmeal in peanut butter with some whey protein, three glasses of milk and then a gallon of water. I also take a teaspoon of creatine and a multivitamin twice daily.

Its hot here too, never really kills my apetite. Read my fitday in my sig and that should give a pretty good idea on how I eat.

Lets see...

3 Fruit leathers (100% organic fruit), 1 Clif bar (also organic), 2 Yoplait yogurts, 2.5 cups Honey Nut Cheerios, 9 cups 1% milk, 2 handfuls of unsalted peanuts, string cheese, 1 cup apple passion mango juice, 1 bottle Snapple Elements energy drink, 1 Jimmy John's turkey sub, 1 can of lima beans :)

Approximately 3,000 calories altogether, thanks mostly to the milk.

I don't have my diet journal with me, but off the top of my head, here's yesterday...

M1: 2 cups cheerios, 2 cups milk, 2 cups oj, banana.
M2: 2 eggs, 6 egg whites, 2.5 cups milk
M3: 2.5 cups milk, 1/2 cashews, 1/4 cup pasta salad
M4: shake (2 cups milk, banana, 2tbsp olive oil, 2tbsp pb, 1/4 cup blueberries, scoop of weight gainer, scoop of whey, handful of ice)
M5: chicken quesidilla w/ homemade guac (mmm!)
M6: 2 cups CC, 2.5 cups milk
M7: in and out double cheeseburger, animal style
M8: cup of milk, 1/4 cup of CC

(Normally M7 would have been chicken/veggies/milk but i was in the hospital getting stiches so i just told my dad to pick up whatever and it was close, at least i got my calories in!)

I remember when 3k calories used to feel like a lot, now I spend all my time eating! :burger:

Here's what I've had so far today....not much, but the day is still young.

4 pieces bacon and lucky charms w/ milk

protein shake with...bannana, grapes, peach, blueberries, oats, whey, wheat germ, olive oil, yogurt, soy milk, milk, oj.

8 oz chicken breast in marinade on the grill

It is not as hot, so my appetite is improving.

I will eat quite a bit from 11pm to 12:30 am during seinfeld and Dave Letterman show to help me get some sleep...I can't sleep on an empty stomach.

Today in a nutshell....

-Tuna Patties in the early mornin

-2 scoops of whey in milk

-Mix of Oats, Milk, honey, and pb in a bowl

-Noodles and sausage in red sauce

-The same again...

-Protein shake with 1 scoop whey, banana, 5g creatine, tbsp olive oil, banana, 2 raw egg whites (mmmm...)

really bad numbers day- 3300 calories, 101g fat, 352g carbs, 258g protein

calories and fat too high... bleh....

Todays meals so far:

-2 cups whole milk 9:30am

-1.5 cup whole milk 2 tbsp pb 10:45am

-1.5 cup whole milk 2 tbsp pb 12:30pm

-400 cals french fries 3 slices of bacon 2:00pm

-1.5 cup whole milk 2 tbsp pb 4:00pm

-1.5 cup whole milk 2 tbsp pb 5:30pm

-2 cups whole milk 7:00pm

-1/4 lb lean ground beef hamburger 8:30pm

-2 cups whole milk 9:55pm


Gonna try and get another 900 cals in before I go to bed. Pretty much every day looks like this.

this morning for breakfast: half pound turkey, 1/10 pound of colby cheese, two pieces of whole wheat bread, four cups of milk.

lunch plans: another sandwhich as above and some more milk

snack: 4 banana and cups milk smoothie

snack: 40 gram whey protein, 2 banana, 1 cup oatmeal, 2 tbspn peanut butter shake

dinner: Spanish rice (500 cals), Fruit smoothie- 2 bananas, one apple, half pound grapes
