Hey

i was wondering if any one could give us an estimate of my body fat. i have no way, or any gadgets to measure my body fat and would like a rough estimate of what you think i am. i am currently bulking cleanly and would like to gain size without gaining to much fat. i know you cant gain muscle without gaining a little fat (unless on drugs). if you think im 20% over do u think i should cut? i have attached to pictures tell us what you think cheers.

It's 'fit', and borderline 'athletic'. 'Normal' is 18-25.

... 25% BF is only 5 percent lower than obese. I'd say normal is 13-18ish

I would say between 13.5% and 16%. Solid.

Well, I was a touch off. Actually, the recommended amount for males is 13%-17% and for females is 20-21%. This comes from a reputable source called The National Institute of Health. A government funded organization. Check out the link...

Note it says...25% or higher for men is obese and women with more than 30%are obese.

For future reference, ACE isn't a very good source for medical/fitness data, which is where the table is adapted from.

That 13 to 17 would be 'fit' on the chart I found, and I would imagine most doctors would tell you fit is where you should be.

Not going to defend my chart a whole lot: It's just some random crap I googled up.

Don;t want to be a prick, but there is no way he is under 15%.....I'm saying closer to the 18-20 range.....many people underestimate their fat %.......

I agree with this.
