I don't believe that you can't do anything about your bones.
It is very well known that the bones do get bigger under stress. With the different hormones regulating the very important blood calcium levels, calcium is very regularly pulled from your bones and some is regularly put back.
It is well known that the bones of a tennis player's arm are bigger on his dominant arm. Of course, it's not as if you could double the size of your bones, but you can have a significiant influence.
