I try to weigh myself at the gym just once a week
Last week I was at 225lb (15lb loss) & 35% body fat (10% loss) after 2 weeks
This week I was down to 222lb but my body fat went up 2% to 37% :bang:
Should I be concerned or does body fat % go up & down throughout the
day(s) ?

How was your bodyfat % measured?

The gym has an electric scale, where you have to enter in your sex & height...then it takes your weight & 5 seconds later a % comes up

I def. wouldn't worry about that then. That form of measuring bodyfat is not very accurate. The next time you go to the gym see if a trainer or someone can measure your bodyfat using calipers (way more accurate).

well that's good news. My ex-trainer told me the only way this was to happen is if my body didn't have enough fat to burn off & it was burning muscle instead. Therefore my weight would go down & my body fat would go up.
BUT with 35-37% body fat I'm sure there's still enough to go around (lol)
I am following a good diet & am getting stronger every week so this confused me.
Those that have read my previous posts knows about this trainer & his ideas & thoughts
Thanks

You definatly have nothing to worry about. That method of calculating bodyfat is absolutly terrible. If you want any kind of indicator go with your waist measurement and weight.

Well, im guessing that you're not lugging around 80lbs of fat anyways... so Imma say dont worry and get a better measuring tool....
