Unless you do it like Arnie in Pumping Iron with 2 hot chicks on your back. Donkey calf raises are my favorite calf exercise, but not many gyms have a machine. My current gym has a stack that only goes to 400 lbs. My old gym had a machine that went to 400 and had a place to stack 10 45lb plates on top of the machine.

That's not uncommon. Arnie would have a guy stand on his shoulders WHILE he was doing the entire rack of weights on the calf raise. Freaking nuts.

Arnold is not gay, in those days, bodybuilders were willing to do anything to increase muscle mass on their calves, even if it looked gay.

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you work out at home.

I would recommend it to everyone so I could giggle from time to time when I go to the gym!
