What the hell do you keep doing between reps?

Holy **** bro- that is ****ing impressive.
Definitely an inspiration- I'll try to keep those in mind while I work on my #2...

Rick..where does the #2 meet up with the heavy grips?

would that be the 250? give or take, i know the stress points are a little different. i can close the 250 down to the thickness of a quarter now. if i actually worked on the things, i'm sure i could close the damned thing without much fuss.

The #2 is a little bit harder, but not much- it'd probably be about a HG 265-270 (if such a thing existed). The wider spread is what gets me though. I thought I nailed it one day, but then I realized that my hand was touching my leg, which I'm pretty sure means it doesn't count, although I'm not convinced it helped either. Other times I've gotten it to within about 3 or 4mm of closing.
I'm pretty inconsistent with the 250- some days I can get it shut, and others I'm not even close. I've actually tried to back off on the crushing stuff a little for this reason. I may invest in an Ivanko supergripper just so I have more levels of adjustment. I have definitely noticed that my grip is getting much stronger, even if I'm not progressing with the grippers as fast as I'd like. My grip for deads and chins has been excellent lately.

cheers man, an you do that, its perfectly possible for you to close it

yeh im setting the gripper, i usually close the grippers extremely fast, an the power of it would knock the gripper out of my hand, it kept happening, an i knew i needed to work on my setting (to cert on the #3) - this was what i came up with, an its just stuck ever since..stops me from doing small reps too

my hg250 is pretty much the same as my #2, hg300 is probably about 2.5

Okay I know nothing about these things. What should I do if I wanted to start and improve my grip?

I have been thinking of grabbing me some grippers, I'd love to have a nice strong grip and diesel forearms. Suggestions for me? I'm 171lbs +/-, DL is 300 x 1....grip strength isnt anything above average. I remember Starke suggesting Captain Crush Grippers? Chris bought them, but never used em enough to give me a good review on them

to start improving your grip/forearms id get coc trainer and #1 + start doing behind the back wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, timed holds with heavy dumbbells, and wrist hold chin ups

heres a couple of other vids - these are ones anyone can understand

clean the pan an put a towel over it so you grip that instead

the trainer is a gripper that takes 100lbs of pressure (PSI) to shut it - ive done that one for 100 reps

I wanna watch you crush more crap. How about a can of soup. That'd be cool.
