I ordered some dextrose for my post workout shake, but that will take about a week or so to get here, what can I use in place of it for my carb source until I receive the dextrose?

While I'm awaiting my dextrose to arrive, I've notice that pudding mix has dextrose in it. Also chocolate Nestle Nesquick contains maltodextrin in it. Would either of those 2 work as a replacement until I receive the dextrose?

Just buy SweetTarts (they're a candy,) which contain solely dextrose, maltodextrin, and malic acid. One roll = 50 g dextrose / malto.

Yeah unev_en, I was reading on here last night and saw that about sweet tarts. Probably pick some up today.

Actually, unless your rolls are freakishly huge it is:
4 rolls = 25g dextrose

These are the kind you get a pharmacies, etc. in a bag. Their about 3-4 inches long and 1/2 inch in diameter.

I was using these for a while but I had to eat so damn many that I gave it up.

The rolls I used were roughly 10 inches long and contained roughly 27 individual pieces of candy. Currently, I use giant sweet tarts; each piece contains 10 g of dextrose / maltodextrin.
