View Full Version : Protein Shakes (I really need help with this one)

It seems that i can't get enough of protein a day. I usually get around 120 grams per day but i need atleast 200 g. But it seems that i can't reach my goal can you please help me. I can't aford to by Protein shakes or Supplements can. Can you guys help me out a bit.

eat more real food. you don't need protein shakes.

eggs, cottage cheese and tuna are prolly the cheapest sources.

but if you DO get some protein powder, get a blend of egg, whey and casein for general use

make a shake with:

peanut butter
2 cups ice cream

theres some good protein and fat there.. just eat anything around the house with protein in it.. peanuts, beef jerky, etc

Don't do what I did when I first started and eat 3 healthy choice french bread pizzas for one meal, just b/c they had 24 grams of "protein" in each one, ..."hey, muscle and fitness told me to get as much pro. as I can, i guess this is the way to do it":rolleyes:
