Today is a great day. Power lifting day for my UD 2.0
225lb Bench and Front Squat past parallel x2
365lb Deadlift x1
200lb Incline Bench x1
185 Close Grip Bench Press x2
200lb Row x2
200lb Lat Pulldown x3
395lb Standing Calf Raise x6
AND ! I'm picking up my girlfriend from JFK Airport in 3 hours. I haven't seen her in 2 months because she's been home with her family and school starts soon. She's comming back :D !

I ate a bunch of sour skittles yesterday. It was probably a PR. My tongue hurt afterward from all the acid.

Lame, try a 5 pound bag of sour patch kids. Your mouth will bleed.
ACtually, a few packages of Shockers///Shock Tarts will do the raw tongue deal the best. congrats to everyone on their new PR's.

I benched 315 today!! I can't even remember how many times I've failed at this weight, but it's in the double digits. I hit 310 in February or March of 2005, so I was pretty pumped when it finally happened.

It definitely was. As I was getting set up some backstreet boys song came on the radio at the gym, so maybe that's all I needed :clap:

I hit a 560 (5lbs PR) deadlift on Friday, weighing in at 180.
Jodi hit 202 (17lbs PR) deadlift on Friday, weighing in at 107. And she used a double overhand grip.
Sweeeeeeeeet.
90 lb DB Standing Shoulder Press x 2 reps .. 5 lb and 1 rep PR..
(I think I could have done 3 on my right, but I want to keep the sides balanced.. lol)

uhh, not sure, maybe 455 x 13 on rack pulls but it wasnt to failure.

105x1 on One-Arm Barbell Snatch (first time trying it)

I set a new PL team record on that. Pretty cool. I'd been training one-arm DB snatches for a while, and figured I'd give it a try with the old barbell.

I did 250 Bench on Saturday at 190 pounds. New PR. That was a raw lift... my triceps were actually a little sore so I think I may have been able to do a little more, but I was pretty happy with myself. Probably won't max that for another few months so we'll see what happens.

well, today was my first day doing 20 rep front ATF squats, so I guess I set a new PB by trying it. It wasn't very much weight though.
I moved from pink to light blue DB's on my bench.

I did a VERY slow 2 reps in the stiff-legged deadlift with 585 lbs (usual no belt and a hook grip). That was a PR for more than 1 rep PR. The 2nd rep was a BITCH!
Oh, I also alternate curled the 85 lb dumbbells for 3 reps per side. That probably isn't a PR but I can't remember that long ago :o) . I have just gotten back into these and my goal is the 100s for a couple with reasonably decent form. We shall see if I get there.

Chris, I thought we agreed you were going to take a break until I catch up? 585x2 on SLDL is insane. Hell, it's insane on any type of deadlift. Awesome work.

Should I be doing these x1 rep exercises; Ive never tried my max on anything before, does it help do anything that I should be concerned with other than being something good to tell people?
