i am trying to eat less carbs and more protein. not crazy atkins-ish eating, but i am trying to eat more with less of my usual things.

my wife made a pizza tonight with 50/50 mix of non-fat cheese and regular cheese. she used peppers and a garden fresh tomato (yummy). non-fat sauce.

the crust was whole wheat from trader joes.

3 pieces...
390 calories
5g fat
84g carbs
15g protein

total carbs for me today so far is 180g (7pm).

i read that ~60% of your diet should be carbs so for a 2000 calorie diet i read i should have about 300g/day. does that sound reasonable?

thoughts?

That sounds like a damn good pizza and a damn good wife!

Read the stickies in the Diet section for info on how you should be eating.

Yeah I know what wheat pizza you're talking about.

I usually don't eat that though since it's so hard to track on fitday you have to measure everything out then put it into fitday.

on a cutting diet you'll get nowhere near 60% of yoru cals from carbs.
