Can anyone point me in the right direction? I tried searching but couldn't come up with anything. I know, the recommendation is .5 gram per lb. but I just wanted to know the resource for it.
Thanks in advance.

No worries - it looks like Joel Marion has taken over the old Rugged forum. Joel's great - I learned how low-rep training leans you out from his "Ripped, Rugged and Dense" article.
