I've found through trial and error that tuna is one of the simplest ways for me to get a good source of protein during the day while still being able to just throw it in my bag and eat it where and when I need it. Obviously you dont want to count on tuna as your sole source of protein (due to the mercury) but what is considered a large amount? I eat a 6.5oz can of tuna about 3 times a week. Is there any chance of negative effects from this amount of tuna? Does anyone happen to have an article about the negative effects of tuna on the digestive system? I've heard in large amounts it can be hell on your intestines.. I could be completely wrong there. Anyone have any reliable information?

Ancom, this was a concern of mine too as I eat one can of tuna a day. Not worried any more :)

BTW Eszekial, Thanks for the link.. I dont have a problem with people refering me to the search function when i get lazy.. but when its an easy answer.. people could at least refer me to the search AND give input to the question as well.. so thank you for that :D
