Ok so a shot of alcohol averages about 120 calories per 1.5 ounce?
how is this possible?
how do they fit that many calories in a shot?
120 calories = 30 grams carbs * 4 calories per carb?
can they fit that in a shot?
what is a shot of alcohol made of anyway. sugar alcohol? so 30 grams of sugar alcohol?

Ethanol is not 4 calories a gram, it is 7.
Furthermore, a shot of an alcoholic drink is not pure alcohol.
Where did you get the value of 120 calories from? From what I can remember it's ~50 calories a shot

Calories are not tangible units of mass that can be touched or even seen with the most powerful microscope.
A calorie is a unit of measure for the production of heat.

A calorie is the amount of heat energy required to raise 1 liter of water 1 degree celsius
Forget the calories. An ounce of toxic alcohol will do more damage to your vital organs than a few hundred extra daily calories or carbs.
