View Full Version : is this ok before/after a workout day?

1 1/2 - 2 hours before i worked out today i ate 2 medium sized steaks, spinach, and milk. right after i worked out i ate a can of tuna and washed it down with a peanut butter, strawberry, banana, blueberry shake. is this ok or what should i change?

Sounds good to me...as long as you weren't too full during your workout.

I would say more carbs before and after.

The PB post workout could be left out, if your worried about fast absorption.

my shake is usually around 900 and something cals not including the fruit because i dont have any nutrition facts on them.
