Hey everyone, I've been taking callmass for 5months now and I've been searching on here that you shouldnt waste your money on celltech/muscletech products...I train in Brazilian jiu jitsu so i can't purely weightlift, and i workout about 3 days a week hard, and i wrestle 4 days a week.
- Should i be taking any supplements to help my muscle gains?
- And I dont feel like the pills that i stopped taking helped me at all and i was hoping for someone to aid me on what i should be taking because the gains that im feeling on cellmass dont seem satisfying at all..?
- GNC people say that So and So products deliver crazy results, and doctors say that supplements are a waste of money, i need advice on what i should buying for my type of training schedule
- And like a dumb@$$ i spent a lot of money on bull**** =/
And btw im consuming protein shakes and eating 5-6 small meals a day and taking a multi-vitamin everyday.

-i wake up and eat a bowl of cereal whith whole milk and have a multi vitamin
-couple hours later i have a chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken etc.
-then around noon i have a shake and whatever i can find to eat

Do you have any idea how many calories you're taking in? That doesn't look like much food. What are your goals?

I am for around 3-4,000 calories a day and i think im around 3k calories a day to tell you the truth
i also finish off a pep and sausage pizza at night along with some other high calorie foods i can find.. and when i go out to eat, i usually ask what the highest calorie food is.. =/ not sure if that is good, but im 6'0 and 170
My goals are to gain muscle while training in jiu jitsu, and if i should be taking any supplements to aid my musclegains along with a good diet etc.

Hey are you by any chance the same BJJFighter as on JJGear forum?
I don't cellmas and no stuff will help with JJ. You should be looking for supplements like whey and other proteins. Plus you gotta ensure you have proper carb and fat intake. As well as multi vitamin. Break down your typical nutrition by meal for people to see. If you are not eating clean but still taking in 4k of calories - that's a lot of dirty calories.
Also, if you want to gain size and strength you have to start liftin and possibly ease off JJ for a bit. You also would have to increase your caloric intake by a lot. You would get somewhat fat - but hey - it's winter, you can cut during spring :)

If you don't know how to progress without supplements, you will not progress with supplements. Period.
What you need to do it pay more attention to your eating habits. Use www.fitday.com to record your food. Yes, it is a pain in the ass, but you get used to it and the info is invaluable.
Do that for a week, take an average of your macronutrients and calories, post the results here, and then we'll make recommendations.

They say that you need to feed your muscles within 45 minutes of workout. Try mixing whey protein with gatorate and drink that after JJ session. You should take supplements only to compliment your good diet already. Basically if you have to eat 6 times a day - chicken and fish can get old. Also, you might not have time or ability to prepare meal - so you rely on supplements.
