I understand that green tea is a useful means of losing weight since it has anti-oxidants. but what in detail what are the real effects of green tea? how does it affect your muscles? your fat? your calories? and other important aspects of bodybuilding?

As far as I konw most of the benefits of green tea is the anti-oxidents. I've heard that speeds up your metabolism, but that is most likely false.

I drink it because it tastes good and it has a bunch of anti-oxidents.

Anti-oxidants have nothing to do with weight loss. I'll spare you the explanation, and just tell you that they are good for you.
Green tea supposedly increases metabolism, and thats where the weight loss idea is from.

The primary component in green tea that aids in weight loss is a polyphenol called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). This substance is a natural thermogenic - hence the fat loss conection. It also acts as a powerful antioxidant. White tea actually has a higher concentration of EGCG (nearly 3X's), and in my opinion, tastes considerably better than either green or black teas.

Do you know of a good website to find some caffeine free white tea?

The 100 Monkeys rocks. These guys have the best prices I've found on loose leaf.
