Im a 16 your old guy that has really gotten into working out this past year. I just purchesed K-Pro Creatine, I had some questions about it maybe someone could help anwser.
1) I know i have to drink alot of water while on it... but exactlly how much
2) When i take it at say lunch time when i work out how long do i have to keep drinking tones of water for.
3) If i take it on an empty stomach is there any harm?
4) Are there any other precautions and cautions i should know. (i do know some but just incase i missed some or something)

If someone coule help awnser theres that would be amazing... thx

when i was taking creatine i would carry around a gallon of water with me and drink it all day long, if not you get some serious cramping!!! i always take mine with my pre-workout protein shake. make sure you read the directions some creatine tells you to load for the first week, if you dont it will take forever to take affect.

^^

That would be incorrect. There is no need to load and you only need to take 5 grams a day.

And to the OP, read this ~> www.creatinemonohydrate.net

I seriously wonder if some of these 1st posters with the detailed questions are some sort of gov't agent.

Testing us for the safety/accuracy of our advice.

here. ill try my best and keep it simple

1) more than 1litre but less than 50
2) you can't drink one glass of water at breakfast and expect to be hydrated for another 20 odd hours
3)i dont know, thats why you would do some reasearch first, isnt it?
4)if you experience any problems, that previously did not exist, in any shape or form, stop taking it and try another brand. if theres still a problem, write it down and search for related info on the web. if you can't find anything, just stop taking it until you find some information

Before you take a supplement, do the following:

Write down youre current sleeping schedule, if you have one. When something goes wrong, its probably the supplement if everythings been going great.

The report that gets written is that we are telling 16 year olds it's safe to use creatine.

I'm not sure about the legalities there.

I know in Canada when you work in a health food store you can't legally say anything.

Someone comes in with a stiff neck and you recommend MSM.

1) You're doing some sort of diagnosis ie: Identifying Inflammation
2) You're providing a prescription ie: The MSM

Most folks that are working in a health food store aren't legally qualified to diagnose ailments and prescribe natural medicine.

We had a thread in the anabolics section recently that just reeked of law enforcement.

We had a thread in the anabolics section recently that just reeked of law enforcement.Yeah, that's a bit scary. =\

The report that gets written is that we are telling 16 year olds it's safe to use creatine.Yes...damn that naturally occurring substance within our own bodies. Damn it all.

I'm not sure about the legalities there.I guess that's why it's best to 'play it safe' then.

You need more water in general. Your muscles are about 72-75% water. You are a being of water. Water is good.

But again...you only need 5 grams of creatine a day. No need to load.

If I was an undercover agent and I wanted to ask a question that would lead to many potential *bad advice* responses, this would be it.

Eesh. Yeah, first time posters in the anabolic section always seem a bit sketchy.

i was reading the internet about creatine and it says you should take 5g each serving, so why on the prolab performance creatine says that each scoop equals 44g. is the box wrong and just use the scoop given with the tub or do you use a teaspoon.

No that would be correct. It contains 39 g of carbs and 5 g creatine. Now if you buy creatine monohydrate, which is unflavoured straight creatine, you only need a teaspoon. Creatine monohydrate is MUCH cheaper than buying the flavoured crap.
