Well I am going to go change the oil and then I am going to go buy some creatine and go to the gym. What kind do you reccomend? I've used hypergrowth and twinlab before and both seemed good.

When it comes to creatine, cheaper is generally better. Avoid the **** filled with sugars and what not.
Try at-large, is quality and it's cheap, without all the OMG INSULIN SPIKING CARBSZZ!

My Cellmass is flavored. Really strong flavor too. Almost too sour to drink but it says that there is zero sugar.

Yeah, buy from ATL. It only took like three days for it to get to my house, it has no taste, and lasts forever. And its cheap, which is the most important part.

There isn't enough research regarding the matter to give a clear answer. Regular creatine monohydrate, however, has been heavily studied and proven to work. I'd much rather take something that's heavily researched than a product that not much is known about.

Would you mind showing me some research. I was trying to do research on Creatine and everything I found showed that it wasn't good for you. (And, as a result of that, my parents won't allow me to use Creatine.)

Ok, before you guys call me that ******ed it's the first time i've had the walmart stuff that is just creatine. Well i was looking for the scoop, so i took one out of my protien powder and used that one, then I realized i just took 50 g of creatine, is that really bad? it gave me the ****s for the day, and i drank a lot of fluids to try to flush it out. But i feel fine now.

They did their own research on it and came to the conclusion. Said, that there are no long-term studies on Creatine. (I have found none.) I bet it's pretty benign, but they're against it. Any info on it would be good.

Look, with any thing there are going to be "negative cases" out there. But keep in mind if anyone has had a problem with creatine it's probably because they were abusing it, i.e., taking 30 grams a day or not drinking enough water. I've been using creatine for at least 8 years and have not had any problems. I'm sure there are plenty others that have used it longer and have not had any problems as well.

I saw the links above, but creatinemonohyrdate.net is all about being "unbiased." The other is fine.
My parents say that there isn't enough research for people taking it over like 10 or 15 years. Like, I take it now for a while and--BAM--AIDS 20 years from now. *Shrugs shoulders.*

Its a supplement. You don't need it to get ripped, make huge gains, or get your goals. While it may give you that extra .1%, if you can't take it, it isn't a big deal.

I know i didn't mean to, i just came from the gym and i was really tired and i couldn't find the scoop (because i'm use to the creatine that has the 5-10 G servings)

Unless you have a pre-existing kidney condition, creatine is fine. Assuming you're not ingesting a whole bottle each setting.

How long had you used C-Mono? How long have you used CEE? What, and how much, were the different gain measurements?

not really. Its my opinion but I have not met anyone that felt differently thus far (except people that used bulk powder CEE- but I think the lab test bear out that a lot of people were/are selling low grade or stuff that is not CEE at all)

I use solid muscle creatine. Got 1500grams for i think 20$+ shipping last year on ebay. still got 2 tubs to go (1.1lb each)

Show real information to your parents, my mom was all worried about it too, although I'm 20 years old and she can't exactly tell me not to use it. I don't like to make my mom worry about stuff however. I'm a biochemistry major, so I grabbed a piece of paper, drew out the structure, showed her an ATP molecule, explained the concept of free energy, and showed her how muscle fibers contract.
Here some data for your parents:
At any given time you have about 100-120 grams of creatine already present in your body.
Theres about 2g of creatine in a pound of steak, there can be almost 5g of creatine in a pound of herring.
The people who experienced things like kidney failure, were on doses upwards of 20-30g a day, and these experiences are isolated rare occurances. Creatine is actually being looked into as a possible therapeutic agent in diseases relating to metabolic function.

Water retention has nothing to do with the brand of creatine, creatine regardless of the brand all gets stored in your muscles as creatine di-phosphate. The water retention is because of osmotic pressure.

CM makes me bloated and feel bad. =( It didn't when I was younger, but now that I'm back to lifting it does.
CEE doesn't.
But I'm currently off both right now.
I remember when I was young people were getting kidney problems from CM. Of course, that's because they were loading with 100 grams a day for 2 weeks and then maintenance dozing with 50 grams a day!!!!

5 grams of creatine a day....no kidney stress in normal individuals.
5000 grams of creatine a day....time for new kidneys.
Normal amount of zinc a day, no problem. Too much zinc, immune system problems.
Normal amount of iron a day, good for you. Too much iron is toxic.
A gallon or two of water a day, very good hydration. Too much water....drowning.
A drink a day, thinning of the blood, less heart attacks, etc. As much as I drink in a day.....sleeping with that one girl that one time. She knows who she is.

I'm guilty of taking 20 grams a day for months when I was younger (10 years ago now.....dang I'm old). As far as I know, I have no problems with my health.

You make a good point though. We tend to look as substances as safe or not safe when we should be realizing what an incredibly complex organism the human body is.

you have to remember different supplements effect people differently. the best way to figure out what works with your body the best is to test different supplements out. personally i like bsn's cee, its the best tasting supplement i've ever had too.

I get a regular checkup every couple of years that include blood tests that test my levels of creatinine.

are u talking about the body fortress brand from wal mart? i use it. it says on the directions to take 5 scoops (5 teaspoon) for the first 5 days and then 1 teaspoon a day after that. that **** doesnt mix for beans in water. it doesnt come with a scoop as most creatine doesnt.

I don't bloat on monohydrate either, and i'm on AtLarge's stuff, so I know its quality.
some people do, or they get gut aches. they should look into CEE if they wanna supplement with creatine.
most people respond to monohydrate, and don't have any of the bad side effects like gut aches or bloating. I retain a little water when I'm on mono, but not what I would call a significant amount.

Ya that was the kind I had, I didn't realize most creatine didn't have scoops because the only types i've used before did come with scoops. And I was wondering where it was; I realized it wasn't suppose to come with one.

Be careful of your walmart brand creatine, it could not be as pure as a higher quality and contain potentially harmful ingredients. It also could be just as safe as other brands, but often times there are reasons why things are cheaper.

there was an army study that showed that creatine helps prevent herpes out breaks.
as far as CEE, I reccomend PureCEE but as long as its tested material (by chromadex) it should be good. Highly reccomend caplets/tablets/caps over powder, it just tastes awful and its super hygroscopic
