Hey everyone!
I'm doing my first power lifting competition on October 14th! I'm so psyched for it! I trained a little with a guy who has been competing for a few years and he pointed me to Korte's 3x3 routine to get ready for the competition. I started it last week. However, I only had 6 weeks instead of 8 until the competition date. So here's what I did last week and what I'll be doing until the competition. Any comments/suggestions/whatever are more than welcome!!!
I've cut out week two and six because I started this when I got back home for school and there was only six weeks until the competition:

Saturday of Week 8 is the competition.
Another question while I'm at it... I'm currently about 175lbs. The weight categories are 165lbs (75kg) and 181.5lbs (82.5kg). I'm thinking I should cut down to get into the 165lb category rather than doing a bulk and staying in this category. I maintain my strength very well during cuts so I'm not afraid of that. Should I try to actually shed all that weight before the competition or should I shed about 5 lbs and not eat the evening before/don't drink much water... There are 2 hours between Weigh in and lifting where I can eat 10lbs of protein bars, gatorade, etc.
