foamy whey..

Ok so i stopped using whey cuz everytime ive tried mixing it into a shake it makes it all foamy and makes more of it....so is this normal or am i doing something wrong? I just used up $40 on the nitrean vanilla :S

Yeah it foams, give it a second. Let it sit for a minute.

I noticed the vanilla foams more than chocolate for some reason.

I dunno, but that product idea has potential :)


anytime you shake something, you introduce oxygen and it'll foam if there's enough surface tension.

protein will foam more in milk vs. water. some proteins will simply foam more.

nitrean doesn't foam too much, and i don't see how it could be a cause for concern in the first place.

add some powdered lecithin, the fat will make the protien more soluable :)

well the texture bothers me and i've gagged until i almost puked :(...so i've been off the shakes for a while. Trying to get protein from elsewhere but it sucks

What exactly are you saying? Are you saying that Nitrean gets foamy? If so, I have no idea what you are talking about. Mix a scoop in a glass of water and you get ZERO foam. Mix it in milk and you get ZERO foam. Using a blender will make ANYTHING frothy because the hyper blending introduces oxygen.

Yeah it only does it when I mix it into the blender.

I'll just deal. I can take it mixed with milk. so all is good, yay.
