good recipe for calamari steaks?

bought some calamari steaks at the store to try something diff. know any clever recipes or best way to cook these bad boys?

beats me, i was thinkin the same thing when I bought them.

but they are 1/4 lb each, fairly thin, and about the size of a CD.

If they're precooked, you can do anything with them. You can eat calamari lots of ways, even raw. It needs to be cooked for only a few seconds or for an hour (like in soup), anything in between is rubber bands (but still edible). Saute in olive oil, garlic and lemon for 15 seconds per side.
