I'm trying to measure out dextrose, and I'm slightly confused. I'm using what I assume to be a normal sized protein scooper from Designer Whey Protein. 1 scoop is 18 grams of protein. I think that's about average, isn't it?
So I'm sitting here putting teaspoons of dextrose into it, and, according to my measurements, 1 protein-scooper-sized scoop contains something close to 44 grams of dextrose.
Does this sound accurate to anyone?

That sounds about right.
Oh, and you need to buy a scale. Drop $25 on a digital one from RadioShack/The Source

Thanks for the reply. And yes, a food scale is on my to-do list.

To know the actual calorie content you generally need to weight OR measure food.
Oats I measure a 3/4 cup. Butter I put on a scale as I find it easer to do then squishing it into a measuring cup.
Go to fitday.com to track cals if you are not allready.
