Hi, does anyone know what brand of maltodextrin and dextrose i should be buying? I read that dextrose is just corn sugar, so is all dextrose the same?

I found this for maltodextrin - http://www.bodysourceonline.co.uk/products/Extreme-Carbs-1548.aspx

Are Extreme Carbs products ok??

edit: Also i don't know what dextrose is called in shops as i can't find places that sell it, can anyone help? :)

thx

dextrose is dextrose...corn sugar...nothing more.

same with maltodextrin...it is a compound all of its own, so the ingredients for the right stuff will say Ingredients: Maltodextrin. nothing more (maybe an anti-caking agent, but rarely)

Extreme carbs is the right stuff, so as long as the price doesn't suck...

I get 5 pounds of dextrose for $4. Malto is usually more expensive, but its not as sweet tastign, which is why some people prefer it. the difference in insulin reaction between the two is negligible.
