View Full Version : Sat-Fat and cheese

Recently I discovered something very simple. Whole wheat bread + cheese + Garlic seasoning = really good garlic bread. Problem is, cheese is high in sat fat, and well, that sucks. I am done using fat free cheese as its processed, but its the sat fat in cheese that has me limited myself on these cheese heavy dinners. Is there a solution? Is there a cheese that only has 3-4g of sat fat per oz?

Natural saturated fat is fine in moderation. Avoid trans.

My usual Sat fat intake is 15-20g
Trans fat intake 0g
I think it has been months and months since I have eaten anything with even a trace of trans fat.

I seem to recall Berardi suggesting about a third of your fat intake should come from saturated fat (the good kind, like from cheese).
It's good for test production.
