Okay well since my family is a certain religion, I'm supposed to be fast for 30 days. I can't eat/drink anything for 13 hrs (from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm)... soooo I am not sure what to do. I have told my mom that I would not like to die heh..

The only plan I have is to eat a lot in the morning and night (anytime between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am). Will all my gains be lost in this 30 day fast? :(:(

It didtn't seem to hurt Hakeem when he was in the NBA playing 82 game seasons.

My best advice is to count calories and eat alot of fat.

My favourite long-lasting meal is tuna mixed with cottage cheese and avocado, about equal parts by weight. Unbelieveably satisfying. You could eat that before dawn and knock it back with a Nitrean shake (ALSO very satisfying, and provides the water necessary for digestion). Make sure to stimulate an insulin response for your first meal to blunt cortisol - I'm pretty sure the preferred food at this time is dates, yes?

your gains will not be lost as long as you consume the amount of protein you need and at least maintenance calories... i've been doing about 17 hour fasts for a few weeks now and haven't lost anything.
