I'm 5'8" 145 lbs. I said I want to "improve health". It recognized I'm underweight, though within "healthy". It says I should eat 1200 calories a day. My maintenance is 3000. I'm currently eating 3500, and slowly gaining.

I think it's wrong.

Stuff like that is all about quick results. They put those fat ass's on competition bodybuilder diets and wonder why they stall after 4 weeks unless they do 3 hours of cardio a day.

That's a great caloric intake for stepping into the Anorexic Zone.

Weight Watchers is scary in its own way. 22 points a day and 35 discretionary points a week.

I don't know how they come up with their 'points' but looking at their sample foods I eat 40 on an average day, and upwards of 60 if I take my girlfriend out for dinner. My *breakfasts* are 20 points... two scoops of ON whey in water, a cup of raisin bran, and a half cup of peanuts to nibble on until lunchtime at work. That's 800 calories, a drop in the bucket, but pushing their dietary limits.

One woman's diet consists of two slices of toast with peanut butter, a salad with fat free dressing, and a 7 oz chicken breast. A year ago I would have called that a good days worth of meals... but now... ugh... that's 800 calories tops.
