Can someone please tell me how to figure your base daily calories. Is there a formula?

I have seen some before but generally they are a very faint guideline. The best measure is to weigh yourself at the beginning of the week, intake the same calorie amount throughout the week and way yourself at the end. If you have gained/lost a pound, then you are above/below maintenance. If your weight is the same, you should be near your maintenance.

I think the forumlas go something like
Bulk = Bodyweight x 17 = suggested calorie intake (per day)
Maintenance = Bodyweight x 15 = suggested calorie intake (per day)
Cut = Bodyweight x 12 = suggested calorie intake (per day)

But as I said above, you're better off finding out for yourself

thanks,,,that will get me started,, i guess there are all kinds of factors like each persons specific metab. and different aerobic activities,, etc. etc.

There is no formula to find your mantinance calories. Track your diet on fitday.com for two weeks, and then add 500 calories per day for a week or so, if your gaining stay on 500 above, if not, bump it up another 500, and so on.... Do the opposite for cutting (-500).
