View Full Version : My Diet Plan, suggestions wanted.

I just planned out a diet I am going to try and follow every day using fitday. I am currently 6'2" 220 lbs. I would definitely like to lose about 10-15 pounds. I am lifting three-four times a week, heavy reps, lots of sets.

I have read Built's thread. My fat is over .5 of my LBM. LBM = 176. My proteins are over my LBM. My carbs are high?

Fat = 105g. 942 calories. 38%.
Carbs = 197g. 725 calories. 29%.
Protein = 209g. 837 calories. 33%.

Total of 2504 calories. 2526 according to fitday.

Does this look decent?

I think you might have miscalculated the carb calories, and it would come to about 2600 calories overall.

Considering your weight that looks pretty decent.

Well fitday probably subtracted for the fiber content. So you are 13% bodyfat?

Estimated body fat percentage is higher than 13%. More like 17%.

Stick to it for 2 weeks, see how much weight you lose, and then adjust. Make sure you are getting some veggies and greens in.

Macros look sufficient; why lots of sets on a cut?

That was a typo. Only 2 sets. I am actually using WBB#1 right now. As you know, WBB#1 is pretty much 2 sets 6-8 reps. It felt good last week and yesterday.
