View Full Version : Yep, stumps cutting monday

So its time, the bulk was extremely successful probley putting on about 10 lbs of LBM in 2-3 months. now its time to shed the fat, i am around 18.5% BF.

My plan was to do what everyone does, raise fats, raise protiens, lower carbs, lower overall calories. i know what my maintanance is from the amount of food not really marcos, so i know how much to take off, prob 500-750 cals lower. lifting 4 times a week heavy, HIIT or other conditioning 2 times a week, more if needed. I have a few questions.

i want to keep my carbs to vegetables with less fruit then i usually eat and trying to stay away from starches cept for hte weekend or a cheat, where can i find cans of vegys i can eat in the morning / take to school??

i planned on upping my protien intake to preserve muscle, this is correct?

i want 2 lbs per week, this seems resonable as my last cut was like 3 lbs per week and i didnt bomb till i was like 60 lbs down. i want to lose 20-25 lbs but my estimates are probley off.

heres a sample of the diet i would follow.

6:30 - 3 whole eggs, can of vegys, 1 scoop nitrean in water
10-11 - either tuna or pb on wheat bread, can vegys, water
2:30 - 1 scoop nitrean in water, 2 tbps natty pb
6:30 - 1 scoop nitrean in water, what ever is for dinner, meat and vegys
post bed - 1 scoop nitrean in water

to much protien from powder???? thats about 96 grams from nitrean.

Grocery stores should have canned veggies

My protein usually stays the same on a cut, but it doesn't matter so much as you're meeting your needs and calories

protein is protein...and nitrean is a REALLY good source of it, so I don't see the big deal in having that much from it. Some people do all liquid cuts with great results, so I think you'll be good.

sad to see you're cutting tho :(

I have been doing 4-5 scoops of nitrean a day and seeing good results. 4 out of 5 of my daily cutting meals are oats/nitrean/olive oil. The other is normally something green with chicken or tuna.

Cutting sucks, but the results are fun. Good luck.

tahnks guys i figured it would be ok since nitrean is so high quality, i know cutting sucks, seeing how much ive been eating lately and finding out its my maintanance is rediculous lol, but im gonna like being lean probley, i know yesterday i had a muscle shirt on for shoulders and tri's and i gotta say i looked jacked as hell, doing hte laterals you could easily see the rips in my shoulders.

is it true 2 lbs of pure fat = 1%?

That depends. Is two pounds 1% of your body weight? (That's 200 pounds so it's probably close).

dd thanks man yes it is!
built im not entirely sure but ive been eating a good amount of food coming to find out ive been maintaining, im guessing 3000ish.

haha, we will see what happens, im really determined this time, 20 lbs should be chicken feet after 80 lol.
