reading the below post about a red spot appearing on the injection site got me wondering.

does anybody or has anybody tried to enquire about seeing a nurse for your weekly injections??

in the uk we have the NHS so if all was agreed by the doctor it shouldnt cost anything to see a nurse on a regular basis.

surely a doctor would agree, as the health and safety of the community is priority.

any thoughts on this?

Hang on... you want the nurse to give your steroid injections for you?

I dont think they will do it. It's completely unethical to assist you in something which is illegal and has side effects and isn't even a treatment for anything that you have. Plus, the NHS follows very strict rules about what medications they use- everything is trialed and tested and follows lots of approval procedures. They're not going to start injecting you with something you got from a guy at your gym or ordered over the internet.

I know that with heroin addicts, they might supply you with sterile needles but no way in hell are they going to help you inject it. I can't see steroids being any difference, since they are also illegal.

It's not that hard of a task.

Keep things clean and there no difference other than not getting a lollipop when you're done.

agreed. if you have to see a nurse for your shots then don't even bother.

Use an alcohol swab and a new needle every time. Not that hard.

ive never injected myself, i was just curious to see if they MIGHT do it.

but if/when i ever do, once i hit my target weight, then i sure will miss getting a lollipop after my shots. maybe my girlfriend can buy me some :strong:
