I searched through the forums but couldnt really find a specific mg.
I recently bought a bottle of Fish Oil with 1700mg, 480mgEPA/400mgDHA (2 gelcaps). Is 4 caps a day enough? Imkinda clueless ..

thanks.

I follow the instructions on the bottle, and mine say 2 gelcaps a day. If you don't know where to start, the instructions on the bottle usually is a good place to start. If your bottle doesn't say anything, try 2 a day.

9-12 caps/day should do ya (I take 3 in the morning, 3 with midday meal, 3 before bed with pre-sleep meal). Looking at your BW, I'd think 9 should be fine.

I just found that NOW brand "Super EPA" has 720mg EPA and 480mg DHA per 2 capsules. Around 15 bucks for 120 softgels too, I will probably be buying that next.

And I thought I had a good deal from these Country Life "EPA Mood" capsules...25 bucks for 90 caps. 1k EPA, 200 DHA

Then again, it is best to take Vitamin E concurrently with fish oil caps, and these Country Life also contain 67% daily recommended value.

Built has great advice. Her issue 1 has a great description of dietary fats.
