I have had lower back pain for as long as I can remember. It's just a pinch, but it's bothering me and it causes me to avoid doing deads. I have tried deads one time and after that session I have yet to continue with the exercise. Knowing that deadlifts are a very good exercise to use when done properly I want to start doing deadlifts, but don't want to further damage my back... Any suggestions?
