I could probably put on about 3/4 pounds and still healthily cut before a fight. I think I will work on my shoulders and abs more over the next few months. Any one got any advice as to abs? (sure that questions been asked 200 times) :P :D

If you go on a cut you'll be be skin and bones. Eat up over maintenance, and gain some quality muscle mass. Then you can go on a cut and get your "abs."

Just finished a 5 month diet... won't be cutting more :S

I went from 14 stone, I am now just over 11. I didn't cut too healthily, because my goal was just to lose weight, rather than maintain mass. I am much, much happier with my appearence now... and I have become much better at my kickboxing and MMA as a result :)

I think I am going to bump my 1600 calories up a bit to match up better with my 12/14 hours of cardio a week. And I think I need to throw in a few weights to start maintaining and hopefully growing my mass a bit.

However I don't want to put on much if any weight (3/4 pounds at a push).

lol, I will man :) It is hard though, I went from eating about 3000/3500 to eatign like 1600, but now I wanna go back up it seems even harder than it was to cut down... I just feel bloated eating that much. :P

156 * 15 = 2340

I'd adjust up for your 2 hrs a day cardio with perhaps 400 more, so 2700-2800. You'll probably put on a little bit of water, but that's it.

Defo up those calories! I understand the pressure to be light on your feet for MMA but you also have to have a good strength:BW ratio.

Squats have just as good Abs activation as any sit up. Performing 12-14hrs of cardio a week plus weights is a ridicolus volume to working on just 1600kcal im surprised your not starving all the time. With regards to the bloat feeling take your time and train your body eat more again as it has got used to a deprived amount of calories. Even being 69kg you can still consume like a 80kg man and still maintain weight if your expenditure is high, which by the sounds of it is.

nice pics tho

Yes i second that, i've always had strong abs but never had any defenition, tried sit ups, sit up machines, weighted sit ups etc but never seem to work and i tried for years. I've been doing heavy squatting and deadlifting for almost a year now and even though i'm heavier the definition is showing and i'm not exactly skinny at 6'1 and 260lbs, will really show when i cut.

To the original post, you seriously need to up your calories. In the first shot your hips look wider than your chest? Your arms dont look too bad, but you should concentrate on your chest/back/shoulders.
