I did a shot with a small amount of prop in it. The shot seemed fine.So then right before I was about to fall asleep I started feeling uneasy. I tried taking a shower and just calming down. I felt like at any moment I was going to have a panic attack and die. Its now 10am and I have'nt really slept a wink all night long. I'm scared to death and so is my gf. My heart is racing and i feel like i'm about to have a panic attack at any moment. Can anyone tell me what might be going on? Thanks crew.

Damn, that sounds bad. I have no authority in this area, so I'll just wish you the best.

I experienced anxiety and panic attacks as a result of coming off AAS after being on for an extended period of time.

From my own experiences and conversations I've had with other experienced AAS users, if you're mildly anxious when you're not on, the AAS will just exasperate the problem and make it worse.

You may also be having an adverse reaction to prop. I can't handle prop--at all, but I may be allergic to the ester.

If you have an alternative, you may want to try another ester and discontinue the prop.

i think it may just be a 1 off fighter. you have been using the prop for a while if i believe and if this hasnt happend before then i would wait to see if it happens again.

Agreed. I think you're just blowing this one out of proportion. Go do some cardio that you're not used to like swimming for a half hour or an hour and really tire your self out. I promise you will sleep the following night.

Hopefully you wont get hit as hard as I did. I had no previous anxiety issues non and got waylayed with a series of panic attacks over a period of days. You will live, just keep your mind busy during these episodes and realize thats the culprit. I have had previous history with aas and never had anything like this type of reaction before. One can only speculate and it keeps taking me to the same conclusions.
I continued 2 more injections so I hope you will just discontinue the stuff and save yourself the grief.
I will never use aas again before this I was making great gains just thought the freaky look would be even better. Wrong
hope this helps hearing from someone thats been there.

Umm... Try to avoid the stream of consciousness writing technique on forums :p

Fighter -- Can't say I know much in this area but since hill said you've been using the prop for a while maybe it's just in your head. Anything happen during the shot that got you worrying? Get to a doc if it doesn't go away or gets worse though

I've had panic attacks for a year before I knew what they were (In and out of the hospital thinking I was about to die of a heart attack or stroke or something) I tried changing my diet, avoiding certain food, and nothing helped. My friends said it was all in my head, but it didn't matter, they still hit me out of the blue. Then a doctor put me on Paxil. I was on it and never had a panic attack after that. 6 months later I was off, went through mild withdrawl symptoms (Nothing bad) and that was it.

I don't know that they AAS would have done anything, but from what I've learned, panic attacks are a chemical imbalance in the brain. If you aren't sure, ask your doctor.

Some are saying that maybe I just nicked a vein but I did'nt have any foul taste in mouth nor did I cough at all.
After looking back I really did'nt think I was going to die, it was more just really uncomfortable and sleepless. I'm going to continue the cycle for a week and if anything else comes up I will discontinue. I have 40 tabs of Xanax and will use if anything comes up. I also have some anti-depressants that I don't plan on using.

Does this mean that your attacks have subsided?

At your age your test levels would support the gains you seek without the added load on your system. The breif strength & weight gains set you up for a roller coaster ride. This eventually burns out most in their quest for their goals. Diet is where your gains lie not a hardcore training regiment or roids.

Only reason I typed the above paragraph is I read that you have anti-depressants already. Brutha this is a ****ty mix to be putting in yourself.

but from what I've learned, panic attacks are a chemical imbalance in the brain. From what I learned in Psychology, there isn't even a thing as a "chemical balance" in the brain to begin with. So it's more of a marketing term than anything else. =\

Interesting,
Look at it from this perspective if you draw one's blood you can tell what they have had to eat from a chemist point of view. We know foods and drink can have a chemical impact on the way we feel. Take medicine for example how do they work in our bodies. I really dont see the stretch in saying chemical imbalance from a laymens viewpoint.
But if its in a book then by all means swallow it hole especially one as structured as Psychology.

When certain chemicals such as serotonin are released from one receptor and meant to be caught by another in order to control proper mood, everything is going well. When the receiving receptor for one reason or another doesn't absorb as much as it should and is sent back to the 'sender' then there is an imbalance and that is when you get a panic attack.

I believe there have been some anecdotal reports in the medical literature, but I'm not aware of any credible controlled studies. I'll dig around and see what I can find.
