View Full Version : help me nail down a post workout diet (beat to death i know)

Ok this is what i'm taking post workout

- Creatine mixed into fruitjuice-immediatly after workout
- apple or banana
20 mins later- whey protein shake mixed in 1/2 water 1/2 skim milk
-cottage cheese, slice of cheddar cheese

good or bad?

1 hour before bed oatmeal or tuna or cottage cheese and milk to drink

That looks really good, i do basically the same thing you could try putting more food into your shake like strawberries, oatmeal, yogurt, peanut butter that way u can get more calories but u said your cutting so you might not want to but your regimen looks tight...so how old r u ??

i would just throw the creatine in some nitrean and drink it....

and then an hour later just have a solid meal with carbs and protein

I see a lot of fructose. Not enough glucose. What you are doing is filling up your liver and starving your muscles.
