More videos from your favorite italian, this time it was heavy squat triple but i only got 2, depth looked good to me, maybe below maybe parallel but not high, i know i good morning a lil i forgot to put my hips into it. and then i got 2 square bars and did some deadlifts, 250 each hand, grip was hard because the bar is all smooth.

enjoy

nice strength, depth looked fine, hard to tell if it was below or at parallel cuz of angle/pant colour/bar in the way.. good idea with the square bars, too bad my gym only has one :( lol

The only thing i would critique was your DL form, i know people have different styles, but you look liked you just squatted the weight up, right before you pulled you squatted your butt down. Most people seem to reccomend to get your butt up higher at the start.

DL form is obviously going to be different with the 'square bars' he is using (as opposed to loading all the weight on an oly bar for a 'real' deadlift.

Personally, I always dip my hips/butt down a little before I start a pull, to get 'under' my shoulders and to ensure that I have a good arch in my low back.

Oh and nice work on the squats, Stumprrp. Certainly looks plenty deep to me. Focus on driving your feet through the floor when you are coming up out of the hole and your 'good morning' problems should go away.

gator thats why i used this, my regular dead form is alot of back
relentless thanks i tend to ease the weight up with squats i dont know why

Squats looked below parallel to me... nice job!

Are the 2-hand DLs easier than a normal DL of the same weight?

Stumprrp
11-14-2006, 08:25 PM
thx beast much easier because you can squat it up more and it was a bit higher then a normal deadlift.

ACK.

Made everything look easy. I loved the smack in the face beforehand.

I think you should compete you have some sick strength........the only other person I've seen this with is jinkies. I'd atleast consider it if I were you.

Great numbers!!!

thx jordan im looking for some but i rather do a strongman comp, the only 1 i found in RI passed, 120 lb press for 21 reps and 240 lb farmers for 400 feet was the records, i think i can take both of those, especially if i can use leg drive.

Massive squattin power Stump, I have seen a couple of guys in my gym try that much but they were not even doing quarter squats.

Look at least to parralell or even a little below.

Outstanding work man keep it going, you will be on track for doing 5 plates soon!

Great lifts!

No offense, but you are not my favorite Italian. This (http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/5260/Events/5260/MonicaBell_Pimen_10881427_400.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Bellucci,%20Monica) is my favorite Italian.

thx beast much easier because you can squat it up more and it was a bit higher then a normal deadlift.Definitely easier, but I'd think it requires a lot of grip strength, esp. with the smooth bar! For you grip is obviously not a problem.

It's hard to tell much on your squats. You need to have the camera lower and at a better angle for us to be able to tell if it's parallel. It looked pretty close from what I could tell, but I don't know if it would have counted in a PL meet. The crease where hip meets thigh should be even with or below the knee.

lol mcirish it pumped me up too
guido i know and in my eyes and doing the squat i was down there, my hips look below my knee.
