How detrimental is barbeque sauce (mine is 70cal/2 tbsp and 15g sugar) on my chicken as long as I stay under my maintance calories?

Not terrible at all (assuming you're actually using 2 tbsp ;)) Obviously there are better alternatives and you should be trying to avoid BBQ sauces.

If I did not have my BBQ sauce on my meat (Famous Daves! FTW!) I would go crazy... I probably have two servings, but it is worth every single calorie... I always factor it into my daily intake (as you should). So the burger is 320 + 150 + 140 +50 is Burger + Bun + Sauce + Cheese = 670 calories... Yeah, not the smallest meal, but it sure makes a cut livable. Dinner is my largest portion, I normally eat around 600 - 800 calories on averge for it. Just add everything in and see where you stand for the day/meal.

When I was cutting I used Kraft low-carb BBQ sauce. There are also other low sugar or low cal sauces that are pretty good. I believe the one I used was 10cals per serving and tasted good.

I use Sweet baby's ray and cannot compromise. This stuff is so good, but it's the most sugar laden BBQ sauce I have seen. I used 1.5tbsp which was 53 cals and about 12 grams of sugar.
