I came home today to an empty fridge. Ended up eating 3 pan cooked tortillas, a can of tuna in water, chips & salsa, a big glass of skim milk, and a couple of scoops of natty peanut butter.

Whats the strangest improvised meal you guys have ever had to come up with in a pinch?

peanut butter and egg sandwich. I now eat them on a regular basis. 6 egg whites (maybe a yolk or two), 1 or 2 slices of whole wheat bread (depending on carb needs), and 2 tbsp of peanut butter. The peanut butter and eggs seem to really go well together.

I never would have thought to mix those two, but it's a great idea; I always seem to have eggs and peanut butter lying around! Great inexpensive meal!

It's amazingly good. I love the creamy flavor of the eggs and peanutbutter. I like to put the peanut butter on as soon as I take the eggs off the stove as it melts on the eggs. If you feel daring, try toasting the whole wheat bread for an added cruch if you like that.

Pete223, you are exactly right. I also always have eggs and peanut butter lying around.

I ran out of mayo and didn't know how to make my tuna. I mixed it with "Cracked Pepper" cream cheese and hot sauce, put it in a wrap and melted cheddar on it. It was damn tasty.

I agree.. had you not told us that it was horrible, I would have prepared 2 of them!
