I'm currently on a slow bulk 3500cal/day plan and am going to a party tonight to get quite drunk, consuming 500-1000 cal of shots likely. Would it be a good idea to plan on eating less, like 3000cal or so, or just get the 3500cal of good food + the alcohol and call it a cheat day? Just wondering which would hurt me more for the slow bulk end.

Go get drunk, continue a clean bulk. One day won't kill you. Just don't make this a regular thing.

If you are truly around 8$ and don't have any major goals such as competitions in the near future, then an extra 1000 cals is not going to be a huge deal.

I would eat as normal.

On the other hand, if I was cutting and consuming small amounts of alcohol regularly, I would count the alcohol in just like anything else. I have a friend who did that over the summer and it worked very well for him.

AS long as it doesnt become a regular thing I dont see why it would affect your bulk, but definately count it as your cheat day.
