Need a New PS2 Game

Ok, I am bored of Resident Evil 4. I want a shooter game, that I don't have to think to much about. I just want to run around and shoot monsters and kick butt. I know a lot of you are gamers, but I am not a huge gamer, I just like to veg out sometimes and kill things. I don't have the patience to go on the gamer boards and read through the descriptions.

So give me a cool PS2 game that I can kick some butt on. I loved Resident Evil 4.

I heard God of War is a really good action game... and Devil May Cry.

God of War really isnt a shooter, but RE4 was amazing. Maybe COD3 or Battlefield 2?

There was the one awesome game my friend had. I think it was brother in arms 2. I know it was the newest one if it was brother in arms. But we ****ing loved that game. We played it for hours.

Guitar Hero II. I was rockin' it at Best Buy yesterday. Guy said I'm the best he's ever seen and it was my first time playing it. Guess those years of actual guitar playing paid off.

I only missed about two button things. I was playing on easy on the song "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath. I know how to play it on guitar so my timing was good.

Either way, I don't own a PS2 so no sale.
