Cy Willson is one of the "steroid gurus" over at t-nation. In this article (http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=460291), he recognizes these three cycles as the best for a "Never Ending Cycle":

• D-bol in combo with anastrozole might be the safest, although liver problems are a risk.
• Halotestin is also an option, but it possesses the same potential for liver damage as the D-bol.
• 4-AD, or 4-AD-EC, definitely seems to be the safest for long-term usage (possibly up to 16 weeks at a time).
Is he just off-the-wall with this article?

maybe the dbol would be ok as long as you had your liver checked out periodically. personally, if i was going to run an extended cycle i'd just stay on test. its not that hard to keep your bp and lipid profile in check. throw in some hcg to keep the boys functioning and you're good to go.

Looks just plain ridiculous to me. I have taken d-bol for extended periods of time, and I got shut down for extended periods of time also. I think t-nation is very hit and miss. I liked t-nation before Thib started up with the pseudo-bodybuilding crap.

He doesn't even mention any dosages for any of the cycles he proposes in that article, although I read on a forum post that 50mg dbol ED for 16-17 weeks is what he recommends.

Is it even possible to really avoid being shut down?

i thought he mentioned 50-75mg dbol/day. that is more than enough to shut you down. it seemed like the goal of his extended cycle was to avoid being shut down and then he proposes something like that. its ridiculous. some people claim that the a.m. dbol thing won't shut you down. i believe its 10mg in the morning. the short half life combined with the fact that you produce most of your test at night supposedly keeps you from being shut down.

You're right: "50 to 75 mg per day along with 1 mg of anastrozole".

I don't see the am dbol thing as scientifically sound, either... although I remember ST saying that he has used the AM dbol bridge successfully as PCT.

i remember that post as well. and i've heard others speaking of similar results. it would definitely be beneficial during PCT. didn't BCC try that as well? haven't seen him post in awhile. where you at bro?

I think I would get advice elsewhere. IMO, you can use test for 16 weeks at a time, why bother with 4 ad?

I remember taking 4-AD years ago... it didn't do anything at all. Was a pain in the ass rubbing the crap all over my forearms, too.

BCC did the AM dbol years back. I don't remember what his success was with it if any.

well, i've got a good bit of left over dbol laying around. i've had the stuff for over a year. might as well get rid of it sometime. maybe i'll give it a shot. for scientific purposes only, lol.

I recently did the 10mg am dbol for 2 months after a cycle. It worked great. I still had a slight hormone crash AFTER the bridge, but was fine a couple weeks later or so. I may have started it a bit early though also. My strength is still up, weight it still the same and everything seems good. The only thing affecting it all is my work...too much stress not enough time in the past week 2 weeks to lift more than 3 times. Damn. :(

what do you mean you started it too early? i thought you would run the a.m. bridge during your pct.

I used it as my PCT, so, not technically a bridge per se I guess. But I think I could have waited a little longer after my last shot to start the dbol. I think I started a week or so after the last one.

Hey IB what do you think about this?
