I here all this talk about "yeah, i eat 4000 cals/day or i eat around 5200 cals!" Thats bullshit, there is no way you're eating healthy also. yeah i can eat that many cals if i eat my 6 meals a day a McDonalds. I'm seeing gains with my diet now (I've already posted it in my last thread) I'm just wondering what are some tricks to getting extra cals in my diet without having to eat 23 out of the 24 hours in a day? Another guy says triple H says eat everything you can (like pizza, fast food, beer, and steaks) as long as you don't eat any carbs before bed. Anyway, does that makes sense biomedically? If so why don't all bodybuilders go that route?

Thats bullshit, there is no way you're eating healthy
You can eat 4-5000 calories worth of good food. You just simply have to eat more of it. :cool:

Weight gainers would be one way to start upping it. And yes, it is possible to eat that many calories and do it healthy. I can't do it, just because I can't eat that much food in a day.. but it is possible (and you don't even have to eat 23 outta the 24 hours a day).
EDIT: I could probably get use to eating that many calories.. I started off after a period of time of eating next to nothing each day (a few cookies, maybe a pizza pocket) and have gone to 6 half decent meals. At the beginning I had a lot of trouble eating this much, and now I'm hungry if I don't.
And yes, it is possible to eat whatever you want (pizza, burgers, etc, etc..) and you will gain a lot of mass/muscle because of it. Probably more (muscle) and quicker then you would on a strict diet just because of the fact the body is getting more then enough of what it needs, while on a clean bulk you are barely getting it. Why don't all bodybuilders do it? You'll gain a lot of fat is the main reason, so you'll have to cut a lot more.. Also, when your bulking that way, you won't look nearly as good as someone gaining lean mass.. could be another reason.

Meal 1- just over 1 cup of oatmeal, 12 egg whites, 1 teaspoon peanut butter.
Meal 2- post workout shake, 700 calories
Meal 3- 3 slices whole wheat bread, 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese
Meal 4- 1 cup oatmeal, 1 can tuna.
Meal 5- 1.5 pounds extra lean ground beef, 2 cups rice
Meal 6- 1 scoops whey in skim milk, 2 ounces peanuts.
Not entirely unhealthy. Close to 5000 calories. It's possible.

I ate like 4000 a day when bulking once, and went up to like 200 lbs....it was all good, healthy food too, just way to much of it for me. So yes, the fat I gained wasn't healthy, but the food I was eating was. Some people can do it, and are probably not lying.

thanks big B, once again you're looking out for me! I'm going to give that meal plan a try but with 1/2 cup of oatmeal instead of 1 cup!

Yo its totally easy to eat that many quality calories in one day. Juse take the normal healthy food you eat and add to it. Instead of eating say every 3 hours eat every 2 and a half.

protein shake+1 serving flaxseed oil 40-600-71
12pm 1chicken breast+2 servings rice+1/2
protein shake+1 whole egg+2 egg whites 52.5-635-71
2:30pm 1 can tuna+1 whole egg+2 egg whites+
1/2protein shake+2 servings of rice+1
serving flaxseedoil 55-790-71
5pm 1 can tuna+1 whole egg+2 egg whites+
1/2protein shake+1 serving cream of
wheat+1 banana 55-570-53
8pm 1 can tuna+1 whole egg+2 egg whites+
1/2protein shake+1 serving flaxseed oil 55-450-3
12am 1 protein shake 21-115-3
Thats a total of: 402g protein
