Male, age 29, 148 lbs, 9% body fat as of last Sunday, currently pushing the diet slider out of maintenance into bulking (slowly!)

Calories: 2492
Saturated Fat: 19
Unsaturated Fat: 59
Carbs: 290
Sugars: 129
Protein: 160

Looks good, except for the sugar. What are they from?

32g comes from the creatine I drink post-workout to restore glucogen levels. Some comes from raisins I eat in my oatmeal. Some from the lactose in the milk I drink with my protein shake. Some of that yesterday was from 'sugar alcohols' in a slim fast protein bar I ate. There was some from half a cup of bbq beans I ate.

None of it's from cokes or candy or anything... But it seems to add up anyway.

EDIT: 32 g from creatine? Is that from the product you purchased, or did you add it your self? The former is generally a waste of money.

I purchased a tub of it a few months ago, and then put off bothering with it until recently. I thought I'd try a tub out and see if I see any effect. All the news on it conflicted, so I generally get my own opinion. So far the best I can see out of it is a quick easy carb for a post workout meal.

Yeah it is, but it is expensive. Mixing creatine monohydrate with Gatorade and/or dextrose gives you the same product for a fractuon of the cost.
