View Full Version : Need ideas for some dry snacks...

..to pack for during classes. So far I bring about a cup of mixed raisins and roasted peanuts. What else would be good (and good for me) to throw in there with them?
I want to bring protein shakes but so far they have caused my stomach to cramp up and feel generally unpleasant. My last theory to this is that it is the milk, I will have to suck it up sometime and try with water.

The nuts have an assload (excuse the pun) of fat in them. Even though I'm trying to bulk I'd still rather keep my fat lower rather than higher.

Dietary fat doesn't make you fat.
Nuts and seeds are full of GOOD fats.
What about jerky? You could take that with you.

excellent suggestions. The nuts and jerky are a must.. great sources of protein. Go buy a 3-6oz container and put a couple of dabs of natty peanut butter and eat it with your finger when you get a chance. Personally.. i bought a small plastic meal divider.. and depending on my mood, ill either fill it with mixed nuts, or saltines and peanut butter... great snake.

Can't eat the peanut butter with my fingers. Not in class anyways. I do have to take notes and such so don't really wanna make a mess.

Me too, except when you wolf them down really quickly and dont chew them enough you get the odd one coming out at the other end!

i would have to go with your preferred variety of nuts and/or some kind of dried fruit. jerky if you like it.
