ironically it seems the stress i had in late april and may sparked this.....and my fuckface dad saying i wouldnt get anywhere.

This is what my routine will be for about 6 weeks to counteract the semming onset of opvertraing due to all the weeks of low reps high weights....I have seen that only my low rep lifts have been suffering so, I shall add reps and lose weight and possible sets as time progresses. Comments welcome.

It does seems like you have been suffering a bit lately since you have taken some time off over the last month. It's too bad that wasn't enough. Glad to see you make the change and go for higher reps for a while.

I haven't figured out what works for me yet so I don't think I can help out that much but if it were me, I would likely try to move leg day earlier to split up the upper body work a bit. Where were you placing the rest days, btw each one or on weekends with one in the middle. From what I've seen the volume looks fine.

I'll be back in a few days to check in, maybe some others will have some more advice to add or counter.

I usually find that a strict schedule keeps my training, diet, and sleep in check because its all pretty much mapped out every day and its easier to stick to. When the school year ends, I'm fucked and I usually gain a couple pounds.

I find it hard to do real dips in the club because they dont have a stand alone dip station, its one of those things where it is a weight assisted dip/pullup station and there are always women and puny men on it doing a hundred sets of a hundred reps and I'm waiting there with a belt and a plate, and they're looking at me like I'm a maniac but it doesnt make them work any faster.

luckily mines stand alone as well as being tucked away in the cornedr...tricep press downs are very popular there:rolleyes:

I think the best mode of injury prevention for my elbow will be icing before press lifting days, today and yester morning no pain no soreness, so icing and warming up better is the prescription for now.

RantTMשׁ I forgot to mention a new lift I've coined..Its called the Putback(TM). The PutBack(TM) is done in as many sets and reps as need every lifting day at the gym. This lift is performed after finishing any lift by taking off the plates and PUTTING THEM BACK on the rack, thus the name: PutBack(TM). This should also be done in conjuction with Dumbell Putbacks(TM) as needed.

I always perform a set of putbacks after every set. It helps maintain order and hardness. SOmetimes I even do putbacks after OTHER PEOPLE's sets! I just cant get enough!


One time in Frisco after the so socially responsible liberal customers had left the gym I came in at 11:30 to work out and hell, I did about 15 sets of putbacks! Heavy ones!

This is absolute one of my pet peeves at the gym. 1) How the h*ll does one know if your done when you leave it stacked on the machine 2) I don't need to unload someone else's sh*t so that I can warm up and re-load. 3) I don't care how much you lift, so don't leave it there to show me.

all it is is cooked oats microwaved, make sure its a little on the dry side so it doesnt fall apart..Then i just saran wrap it into a bar, you could also put it in the fridgr for an hour to harden it..
