ON chocolate mint

I have been a fan of the rocky road flavor (far better then just cholote) but decided to try a 5lber of mint chocolate.

My impressions:
Those chocolate mint sandwich squares, thats exactly what it tastes like. amazing. I have been going through this stuff pretty dang fast. yesterday i think i had 4 shakes just for the taste of it.
Mix is just as good as the others. The powder seems more moist then the others though. kinda weird. mixes perfectly in water and the small clumps with a spoon after stirring for 10 seconds in milk actually taste good.

I just am not a fan of chocolate before and after a work out. and with mint too...just not seeing this as going to work for pre and post. So...tropical punch here we come.:cool:

That's funny you mention that. I just bought the ON chocolate mint on Thursday. It was pretty good with water...I was surprised.

The tropical punch ON was decent. Definitely a good change from the chocolate drinks.

Choc Mint is one of my favorites. I love that minty taste you get when your burp. I recommend it to anyone who likes eating (used to eat) chocolate mints.

The ON fruit punch I have always seems to foam WAY too much in the blender. All my other flavors don't seem to foam 1/2 as much. I didn't care for the taste that much either. It will probably be given away just like the Cookies & Cream.

well i guess you are allowed your opinions.
I have been taking ON whey for 4 years and still haven't hit all their flavors up. Doubt you wouldn't like mint chocolate though.

Is the fruit punch like a red fruit punch or a pinnapple kinda taste?

I tried it when it first came out and was pleasantly surprised. I've gotten a second vat since then but I wouldn't buy it two months in a row.

I like the cookies and creme. It's barely passable in water, it is true, but in milk or chocolate soymilk it's pretty good.

If you're talking about the tropical punch, it's more like a red fruit punch taste.

hahah its funny to remember everyone has different tastes. I was so excited when i got the cookies and cream tub in the garbage. yuck :)

I also picked up the only thing worth while at GNC yesterday. shaker cup filled with 6 of their bars all for 5 dollars. not a bad grab. but shaken not stirred makes a huge difference. god I had so many mint chocolate shakes yesterday :burger:

I had ON cookies and cream, Chocolate mint, Vanilla ice cream. The chocolate mint was by far my favorite. Although I am useing Nitrean chocolate and strawberry flavors now and those are pretty good as well.

Dude, you know whats good, this combination is just too delicious... Tastes like a god damn orange creamsicle, I used to do it all the time back in school.....I would drink that **** just for munchies after a fat blunt lol

I've never tried the chocolate flavor, but the rocky road is great with milk. But like Wildcat said, I'm sure you'll find the chocolate mint.

how many scoops do you guys put in your shakes?

my 5 lbs of rocky road never came with a freaking scooper so I used one out of my N-large 2 and I think that was a 40g scooper.

I would put 3 scoops of ON whey in milk and drink it, but I think I screwed up and haven't been taking enough protein.

Two scoops. +48 grams of protein in one shake is more than enough to help keep your protein high.

I usually just do 1 scoop mixed w/ about 8 oz milk.
