View Full Version : My new flapjack bars.

Just thought i would play about in the kitchen and make a bar that i can have at anytime of the day.They taste good too.

oats 300g
set honey 200g
organic crunchy peanut butter 150g
raisins 140g
skimmed milk 100mls.

melt the peanut butter,milk and honey in a pan.
add the oats and raisins slowly whilst stil on a low heat.
place mixture in a baking tray.
brown in the oven.
Place in the fridge to set.
Cut in to 8 bars.

Nutritional values per bar.

367.5 kcal
9.7g protein
54.6g carbs
12.4g fat.

oh those sound good.I've made flap jacks before instead of raisins try dried apricots or dates if you'd like.

Last time i tried apricots they were nice.Have you ever tried dried berries?I was thinking about it.

I have not made em with the berries yey ,but now you have reminded me i think i will give it a go!
